Job description

Volunteer with Julia’s House – Be Part of Something Meaningful

Warminster charity shop (BA12 9AN).

This is a voluntary role with no salary.

Hours: Various shifts across the weekends.

Closing Date: Ongoing

The Role: Sort Room Support

This is a hands‑on and rewarding role in our stock room, where you’ll be involved in:

  • Sorting and organising donated items as they arrive
  • Steaming and preparing clothing for display
  • Tagging and pricing stock
  • Getting items ready for the shop floor

Your contribution keeps the shop running smoothly and ensures donations are presented at their best.

When You Can Help

We’re currently looking for support on:

  • Monday afternoons (1pm – 5pm)
  • Tuesday afternoons (1pm – 5pm)
  • Friday afternoons (1pm – 5pm)

We understand that everyone’s availability is different, so we’re happy to be flexible—just a few hours a week can make a real difference.
