Job summary

MBDA in the United Kingdom seeks a Warheads Engineer for an Undergraduate Placement in 2027. You will join the Complex Warheads Centre of Excellence, contributing to warhead design, testing and missile lethality concepts throughout the product lifecycle.

The role includes modelling, design definitions and data analysis from trials, with potential collaboration across MBDA departments and potential travel. The placement runs from September 2027 for one year.

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in Engineering or applied science.
• Interest in Warheads and missile technologies.
• Willingness to travel as required during the role.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team across the product lifecycle stages.
• Produce detailed design definitions and carry out concept assessment using modelling simulations.
• Assist in analysing performance data from trials.
• Support trial planning and design.
