Job summary

Quest Employment is recruiting a PPT Driver for a busy Crick warehouse. The role involves operating PPT equipment, picking and packing orders, and supporting daily warehouse operations. You will work on a 4 on/4 off day shift with weekly pay and opportunities for ongoing employment.

Ideal candidates are experienced PPT drivers, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team, while following health and safety procedures. On-site parking is available.

Qualifications

• Experience operating PPT (Powered Pallet Trucks) is essential.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pick orders using PPT trucks and from PPT pallet loads.
• Pack products, load/unload deliveries, and assist with warehouse duties.
• Use handheld scanners or pick sheets for inventory tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support smooth running of warehouse operations.

Shift: 4 on / 4 off – 06:00 - 18:00

The Role

As a PPT Driver / Warehouse Operative, your duties will include but are not exclusive to:

• Operating PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) equipment safely and efficiently
• Picking orders using PPT trucks
• Picking orders off the PPT truck
• Using handheld scanners or pick sheets
• Packing products ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations
• Other general warehouse duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Key Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Experienced PPT drivers (essential)
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Comfortable working on and off the PPT trucks
• Comfortable completing various tasks within the warehouse when required
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to follow health & safety procedures
• Good communication skills
• Good attention to detail

Previous experience in warehouse, production, picking, packing, manufacturing, logistics or factory work would be beneficial.
