Job summary

Rayner is seeking a reliable Warehouse Technician to support material flow across Worthing and Crawley sites. You will unload deliveries, check documentation, and locate items in the correct zones while safely operating forklifts and other equipment.

You will contribute to stock control, production support, and process improvements, while staying compliant with health & safety rules and SOPs. A full UK driving licence and prior warehouse experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or materials-handling environment.
• Safe handling of materials and good understanding of warehouse health & safety requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload and control incoming materials and deliveries.
• Ensure incoming documentation is correct with deliveries.
• Locate deliveries in correct zones and with correct status.
• Operate warehouse equipment (Forklift, VNA, Reach Truck) safely.
• Transport products between Worthing and Crawley sites.
• Issue materials to production and manage stock counts.
• Maintain tidy loading bays and stores; follow SOPs.
• Maintain computer records for supplier orders and invoice receipting.
• Chase overdue deliveries and escalate to purchasing as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvements in warehouse processes.
