Job description

Workshop Logistics Operative / Yardhand

To support the operation of the Swanley Depot to maximise the amount of time workshop engineers are fully productive. Primary duties are listed below but you will be asked to undertake additional duties as directed by your manager.

• Cleaning of FLT’s and associated equipment
• Loading and unloading FLT’s and associated equipment and any other deliveries or collections from the depot
• Assist in locating equipment for collection
• Organisation of the yard and associated storage area(s)

Tasks and Qualifications

• Cleaning of FLT’s and associated equipment
• Dealing with the disposal of all scrap equipment including the removal parts identified for future use
• Dealing with trucks identified for trade and assisting in the loading of vehicles
• Body work repairs ranging from filling, sanding and painting of body panels and associated FLT parts
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the workshop and storage areas.
