Job summary

Lidl is seeking a Team Manager to lead a fast-paced warehouse operation in Exeter. You will optimise processes, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and coach your team to reach their full potential. You will manage stock, support senior shifts, and drive continuous improvement in merchandising and inventory accuracy while maintaining a positive, safety-first work environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment.
• A confident leadership style with a passion for training and developing a great team.
• A calm, analytical approach and a real eye for detail.
• Strong multitasking skills to keep calm under pressure and manage conflicting deadlines.
• Self-motivation, positivity and a focus on smashing targets.
• A confident and open communication style that helps get your message across to anyone.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and train your team to keep our standards high and our products moving.
• Support your Shift Leaders and Department Managers, helping them to recruit, train and develop their teams.
• Check all stock as it arrives and proactively chasing up errors with our suppliers.
• Coordinate stock-takes to protect our inventory, checking the results and taking necessary action.
• Keep our merchandising plan and slot labels up to date.
• Make sure that we stay on top of Health and Safety regulations.
