Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking an ambitious Team Leader for its Heywood coldstore operation. You will lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring safety, accuracy, and on-time dispatch while fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

We're now looking for an ambitious Team Leader to join our coldstore operation. You'll lead a team of hardworking warehouse operatives, creating a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement while ensuring every order is dispatched accurately and on schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring performance, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently met.
• Oversee and coordinate daily operations in the coldstore, including the pick operation - prior experience in picking processes is essential.
• Manage shift plans and resource allocation to keep workflows smooth and on schedule.
• Monitor inbound/outbound movements, stock accuracy, and product integrity.
• Operate and coordinate with material handling equipment (MHE), resolving any issues promptly to avoid downtime.
• Maintain clear and open communication across departments, supporting continuous improvement and high team morale.
• Address employee concerns, contribute to team development, and ensure a safe working environment. Previous experience working in a coldstore or temperature-controlled environment.
• Proven experience with pick operations within a warehouse/logistics setting.
• A proactive and confident approach to leadership, with a passion for team development.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support weekend operations when required.
