About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. You will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse operatives, managing workloads, and maintaining a high standard of operational performance in line with company targets and KPIs.

About You
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team, including goods in, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock control.
  • Allocate workloads and monitor staff performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements COSHH, manual handling.
  • Provide training, support, and coaching to new and existing staff.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels and inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
  • Liaise with transport teams, suppliers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support the Warehouse Manager with any additional duties as required.

Essential
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Good understanding of warehouse procedures, including inventory control and stock management.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competent in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
