PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution is a national full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler with a network of distribution centres nationwide. We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacy, GPs, and hospitals. All of our depots are licensed by the MHRA, and comply with BSI ISO Quality and Environmental standards. We operate twice daily deliveries from our distribution centres across Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning, and our local teams are supported by a centralised function team, primarily from our Head Office in Runcorn. Opportunity / Role

You will act as a link between the supervisors and warehouse staff providing immediate hands on leadership and supervision ensuring maximum effort and attention to detail in a safe and tidy environment. You will be based at East Kilbride Distribution Centre and will coordinate, prioritise and delegate warehouse activities to meet depot service level requirements, manage productivity within the team, and ensure achievement of contractual and internal KPIs. You will control all aspects of staff operations within the depot to ensure duties are carried out as required and promote high standards of work from each employee.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, prioritise and delegate warehouse activities to meet service level requirements.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and supervision to the warehouse team to ensure safe and tidy operations.
  • Manage productivity within the team and monitor progress toward contractual and internal KPIs.
  • Control all aspects of staff operations within the depot to ensure duties are carried out as required.
  • Encourage high standards of work from each employee.
Salary and Working Pattern

Salary: £26,208.69 Per Annum (£12.98 per hour)

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 06:00-14:00 with 1 in 3 Sundays 08:00-12:00 (38.83 hours per week)
