Qualifications

  • Previous experience with WMS systems, DLX knowledge would be an advantage.
  • SQL skills are advantageous; training will be provided.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills required.
  • High level of general IT knowledge needed.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operation with system issues.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the correct teams.
  • Investigate ad-hoc issues and provide solutions.
  • Resolve queries from the operation and the customer.
  • Provide expertise for Systems related projects.

Job description

If you're a night owl with solid technical skills in WMS systems, SQL reporting, and IT hardware—from printers and PCs to radio data terminals—we’d love to hear from you!

Here at GXO, we are on the lookout for a Warehouse System Administrator to join our team at our Wellingborough site, supporting our customer, VMO2. You will provide first line support to the operation in dealing with a range of system and process related issues.

This is a full time, permanent position and working any 5 out of 7 days, between the hours of 22:00 – 06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Support the operation with system issues and technical knowledge
  • Escalate issues to correct teams, that cannot be resolved in-house
  • Investigate ad-hoc issues and provide solutions
  • Resolve queries highlighted from the operation and the customer
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support Systems related projects.
  • Complete and build new or one-off reports as required by the operation and the customer
What you need to succeed at GXO

    terminals, printers, PCs
