Job description

If you are skilled in WMS systems, SQL reporting, and a range of IT hardware—including printers, PCs, and radio data terminals—we want to hear from you. At GXO, we are looking for a Warehouse Systems Administrator to join our team in Wellingborough, supporting our customer VMO2. You will provide first‑line support for system and process‑related issues that arise in daily operations.

Responsibilities
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate teams when they cannot be resolved in-house.
  • Investigate ad‑hoc issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Resolve queries highlighted from the operation and the customer.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise to support systems‑related projects.
  • Build new or one‑off reports as required by the operation and the customer.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with WMS systems, DLX knowledge is an advantage.
  • SQL query and report‑writing skills (training will be provided).
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • High level of general IT knowledge, including radio‑data terminals, printers and PCs.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Full‑time, permanent role with a salary of up to £32,000 per annum.

  • Working any 5 of 7 days, rotating between 6 am‑2 pm and 2 pm‑10 pm shifts.
