Job summary

Pennine Recruitment is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor in Leeds to lead a small team and coordinate warehouse staff and drivers to ensure efficient use of resources and high levels of customer service. The role requires leadership experience in a warehouse, a valid Counterbalance forklift license, and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.

You will organize resources to meet daily demand, maintain stock accuracy, and drive safe operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a proven leader with experience guiding teams in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment.
• Experience using Warehouse Management System to track stock and orders.
• Forklift license - Counterbalance is required.
• Flexible attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Capable of multitasking and prioritising workload and turning challenges into opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff and drivers to ensure efficient use of resources and high customer service standards.
• Enforce company policies on timekeeping, clocking in/out and breaks.
• Coordinate delivery planning and stock replenishment to meet daily demand.
• Organise warehouse resources and maintain housekeeping within the facility.
• Ensure products are stored correctly and stock levels are accurate.
• Manage stock levels through the stock replenishment system and monthly counts.
• Ensure drivers complete paperwork and perform safety checks; report damages immediately.
• Oversee PPE compliance and record accidents, hazards and near misses.
