Job description

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor / Forklift Driver to join our client in Luton on a temp-to-perm basis.

Working Hours: Flexible shift pattern – occasional weekend, night or holiday work may be required to complete the day's tasks.

Pay Rate: £26,000.00 to £28,000.00 per year (based on experience)

This role involves:

• Operating Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts
• Supervising a small warehouse team (3–5 people)
• General warehouse duties including loading, repacking, sticking, boxing, and labelling
• Manual handling of items up to 5kg
• Truck loading and offloading (including export containers)
• Accurate picking, packing, and wrapping of customer orders
• Maintaining high quality standards for container and truck loading
• Checking stock – quantities, expiry dates, incoming and outgoing shipments
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
• Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and Assistant Manager
• Taking on additional warehouse tasks as required

To be considered for this role, you must have / be:

• At least 3 years’ experience operating forklifts (Reach and Counterbalance)
• Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift licences (or refreshed)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment
• Previous supervisory experience (preferred)
• Experience handling FMCG products (minimum 2 years)
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Strong numerical skills for accurate picking and inventory work
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Safety-conscious with relevant safety training/certification
• Flexible with working hours, including occasional weekends or late shifts
• Motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently or within a team
• Able to commute reliably to Luton
