We are supporting a warehouse and distribution company with the recruitment of a warehouse supervisor; the ideal candidate will be available on a temp to perm however they will consider permanent for the right candidate. This is a hands‑on role – 40% supervising and 60% picking orders and driving the FLT.

Warehouse Supervisors duties

• Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods to maximize output and efficiency.
• Manage Staff: Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse employees, ensuring they meet performance standards and safety regulations.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular counts, and ensure accurate order fulfillment and shipping processes.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, implementing safety protocols and conducting regular inspections.
• Logistical Coordination: Coordinate the flow of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation of shipments.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse tools and equipment are well-maintained to prevent operational disruptions.
• FLT: Forklift truck or Powered pallet truck.
