Greggs is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a shift in our Derby-area warehouses. You will ensure smooth operations, uphold quality standards, and manage a motivated team in a fast-paced setting.

Experience in food-hygiene practices and supervising staff is essential, with potential exposure to flour/dust in a chilled/frozen environment. The role offers 42 hours per week on a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour shift pattern, days/nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ideally experienced as a supervisor in a similar warehouse environment.
• Must hold Food Hygiene Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in leading and motivating teams.
• Fosters an inclusive culture and collaboration.

About the role

Join us as a Warehouse Supervisor and you'll be a key part in the team, helping to keep our warehouses running smoothly. You'll have a passion for quality and will follow all the correct processes and procedures in line with legal requirements.

You'll work with a great, close-knit team, in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where timescales and targets are important. You'll be leading the warehouse team on shift and will make sure that the operation runs efficiently and to the highest of standards.

Working in a food environment means that you may be exposed to flour and dust. You will also be expected to work in a chilled/frozen environment.

About you

Ideally, you'll have previously worked as a supervisor in a similar environment. You'll also need:

• A good knowledge and understanding of Food Hygiene (ideally, you'll hold a level 2 Food Hygiene qualification)
• Experience in managing, developing and motivating teams
• Be supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is good

Experience of Microsoft IT packages and SAP systems would also be beneficial but isn't essential.
