Warehouse Supervisor

Location: South Norfolk

Salary: Excellent

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent - Monday-Friday 8am till 16.00

About the Company

Galaxy Personnel is partnering with an exciting growing company, who are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to work with the Warehouse Manager as part of the team.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting managing warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.
  • Assisting warehouse manager and Team leader overseeing, stock control and dispatching of goods.
  • Providing leadership and direction to other warehouse team members.
  • Preparing weekly warehouse transfers.
  • Checking despatch allocations daily.
  • Picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch, loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Good relationship and liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies.
  • Liaising and communicating internally with other departments
Integrity & Safety
  • Ensuring that all stock levels and controlled, stored, and maintained efficiently.
  • Ensuring that staff are trained to all procedures and SSOW's.
  • To pro-actively ensure that all Health, safety, and environment are maintained for all employees in the Warehouse, reporting near misses, hazards, environmental issues and any other health and safety issues to management and complying with the company health and safety and environmental policy.
Key Attributes
  • Proven work experience in a warehouse.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to manage staff.
  • Trained in Level 2 food safety.
  • Trained in Level 2 Health and safety.
