Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Stores Operative at our client, a national baked goods provider in Nottingham. This full-time role offers fixed day shifts on Sundays to Thursdays (every third Wednesday) with overtime after 39 hours.

You will support safe, accurate warehouse operations, stock control and ERP transactions, using a Counterbalance FLT. This temp-to-perm opportunity requires a valid FLT licence and a proactive team player attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, packaging or similar operational environment.
• Experience using an ERP or Warehouse Management System.
• Valid FLT licence with proven operating history.
• Good stock control and inventory management understanding.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate system transactions.
• Good IT, numeracy, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Good communication and ability to handle physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders and documentation.
• Ensure goods are receipted onto ERP/WMS and located correctly.
• Complete stock movements and transactions accurately in ERP/WMS.
• Pick and issue packaging materials to production per requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform stock checks.
• Safely operate Counterbalance FLT and other material-handling gear.
• Maintain GMP, housekeeping and food safety standards.
