Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Red Recruitment are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stock Controller / Warehouse Operative to join our clients, Operations Team. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, handling goods in and out, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the warehouse is kept in an organized and safe condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials
  • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders in a timely manner
  • Monitor stock levels and perform regular stock checks / cycle counts
  • Maintain and update inventory records using warehouse management systems (Sage 200)
  • Investigate and report stock discrepancies
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet trucks (if trained/licensed)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment
  • Liaise with other departments such as purchasing, customer service, and production to ensure stock availability and order accuracy
  • Assist in stock takes and audits as required
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or stock control role
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Excel, and stock management software)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Forklift license essential

Working hours

Monday to Thursday 06.00am - 17.00pm (1 hour lunch) 40hr working week.
