Overview

The Job People are looking for a Warehouse Stock Clerk to join a well-established Logistics company in Leamington Spa.

We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic colleagues who are willing to work long term with the opportunity to gain a full-time contract.

Previous Stock Clerk / Inbound / Inventory / PC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the warehouse with booking in all inbound stock using inhouse WMS systems
• Check the stock - ensure it is accurate and not damaged
• Book all stock using Mintsoft system
• Carry out compliance checks to ensure it is putaway accurately into the correct locations
• Segregate inbound deliveries by customer and product
• Problem solver; forward thinker
• Support the operation with the moving of stock and pallets in the warehouse
• Have a keen eye for detail and ensure no mistakes are made
• Order picking and packing a variety of goods using an RF Scanner
• Checking customer orders and ensuring 100% accuracy
• Role requires you to stand on your feet for long periods of time and some heavy lifting of boxed goods

Shift Hours

• Fixed AM Shift
• Monday to Friday
• Flex required from time to time, start an hour earlier, or stay an hour later, depending on the customer requirements
• Opportunity to go permanent after a qualifying period

Pay Rates

• £13.00 per hour
• £19.00 per hour overtime paid after 40 hours - time and a half
• Pay increase after 12 weeks
• £30,900 per year when perm
• Opportunity for a full time contract after 12 weeks
