Warehouse Stock Auditor - Reading - £12.54 per hour

The position

12th Jan - 23rd Jan 2026

- Mock counts are all arranged for the Friday before counts take place.

- First mock count is Friday 9th Jan at Reading.

- These must attend for all colleagues as inductions and AMT training will be given.

  • This is a casual position based at our customers distribution centre in Reading.
  • Rate of pay: £12.26 per hour
  • Shift Patterns: 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm
  • Working Environment - Ambient

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods In. checks, accuracy audits and load checks.

Job activities

  • Audit the In, accuracy of supplier setups.
  • Audit select accuracy of stock setups and investigate all errors found.
  • Adhere to agreed audits and error verification for all times.
  • Maintain integrity at all times.
  • Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with client expectations.
  • Review daily targets in line with client expectations.

Job specifics

  • Achievement to actively respond to both verbal instructions and electronic warnings.

  • To carry out stock auditing duties in a fixed site or sites which require shift cover.
  • Maintain and develop relationships and effective lines of communication in the workplace.
  • Administrative duties to include weekly time sheets, training and sign off, preview sheets, filing projects and data entry, scheduling, holidays and uniform requests, any auditing associated tasks.
  • Ensure that an efficient and robust service is provided in a consistent manner at all times to the client, so client KPI’s and workflows are met.
  • All relevant objectives are achieved in a sustainable manner.
  • All colleagues are treated professionally at all times. Ensure all allocated shifts are worked and attendance expectations are met.
