Warehouse Shift Manager - Nights

Location: Bedford, Mk41 0LZ

Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week. Working on the night shift, starting at 10pm and finishing at 6am from Sunday to Thursday; however, flexibility is required to work outside of these hours to suit business needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to join CMBC Bedford as we expand to a NEW site after procuring new accounts and strengthening our logistics network. We are now recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join us. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will be responsible for:

Key Accountabilities:

• Providing skills required to deliver to our customers on time and in full.
• Providing a high-quality service to meet customers’ needs.
• Working closely with the transport and office teams to ensure smooth operations and meet overall site objectives.
• Supervising a team of operatives on the night shift.
• Maintaining health and safety at the forefront of all warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Experience and Key Attributes:

• IT Literate with experience using MS Office and SAP.
• Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team.
• Experience working in a warehouse for an FMCG.
• Strong customer service skills.
