Pay Rate: £38,000 - £42,000 (dependant on experience)

Grade: M
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.00pm
Location: Skelmersdale, WN8 8DY

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• To directly assist operational management by initiating, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and staff performance of your designated shift
• To manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, monitoring stock movement and control, whilst ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and always maintaining standards of excellence
• Responsible for Health and Safety across the operation and driving a Safety First Culture, to ensure all staff are safe within the workplace at all times
• Support a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the operation

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience as a shift manager within a Manufacturing warehouse environment is essential
• Extensive customer management experience - both face to face and virtual
• Be a people centric leader who can be hands-on within the operation
• IT Literacy with experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems. Experience using SAP would be beneficial
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to articulate and present data
