Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team at our Bedford Distribution Centre. This will be working weekend nights. To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Warehouse Manager who prides themselves on driving, developing, and leading teams through motivation, training, and development. As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for driving an efficient team to meet its KPI's and an effective, reliable service to our stores, while meeting all legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Team Managers and warehouse colleagues to deliver operational excellence
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all operational departments, identifying and implementing initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and service levels while aligning with strategic business goals.
• Support recruitment and workforce planning, managing labour costs effectively
• Champion health & safety standards, ensuring compliance and proactive risk management.

• Strong DC knowledge and experience
• A team player with outstanding leadership skills
