Here at GXO, we are looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager, to join our team in Lisburn, NI supporting our customer Coca-Cola.

This role is pivotal to the efficient running of our operation, leading colleagues to work effectively and collaboratively. Focused on delivering performance and operational KPIs, you will be reporting to our Warehouse Manager, where you will have accountability for the day-to-day management of our team of supervisors and operations. Delivering a culture of excellent performance and colleague engagement.

This is a full time, permanent position. Working 12-hour shifts on an 8 week rota basis; rotating days and nights (7.00 AM to 7.00 PM and 7.00 PM to 7.00 AM). With a minimum of 3 days off between shifts, resulting in some weeks working 36 hours (3 day) and 48 hours (4 day). Every second month you will have 7 consecutive days off.

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Lead engagement with your team of Supervisors/Operatives, to meet targets and deadlines through guidance, support, and effective communication
  • Drive performance, reporting and KPI management through operational and team performance, attendance, and productivity with continuous improvement initiatives
  • Pride in delivering compliance and H&S by ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards, including proactive risk assessments
  • Resource and Budget Oversight, manage temporary labour and agency relationships, control budgets, and optimize processes for operational efficiency
  • Customer engagement and stakeholder relationship responsibility, with maintaining strong customer relationships and collaboration with wider teams/union representatives
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Proven Warehouse operations experience within logistics/manufacturing, with strong understanding of shift KPIs and operational processes
  • Skilled in team building and leadership, through delegation, mentoring, and empowering direct reports to achieve high performance and continuous improvement
  • Agile approach to planning, data-driven decision-making, and passion for improving efficiencies and processes
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, IT literate with Microsoft proficiency, and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
