Recycling Lives Services is recruiting a Group Shift Leader for our Workington battery recycling site. You will lead a busy warehouse shift, set workloads, coach team members and drive performance while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront.

You will manage day‑to‑day operations, coordinate resources and work with site management to continually improve safety, quality and efficiency. A strong, hands‑on leadership style is essential.

Qualificações

• Experience leading teams in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Strong health & safety leadership with ability to enforce procedures.
• Experience planning workloads, allocating resources and monitoring productivity.
• Ability to lead from the front, set expectations and coach others.
• Clear communication and effective shift briefings.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Warehouse Operatives, provide day‑to‑day coaching and support.
• Plan workloads and allocate resources to hit productivity targets.
• Oversee sorting, processing, storage, loading and dispatch of batteries.
• Monitor performance and address issues to sustain efficiency.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Maintain stock movements, records and reporting.
• Lead handovers and communicate issues to the management team.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and efficiency.
