Job summary

An FMCG company based in Telford is seeking a Warehouse Shift Coordinator to oversee daily operations and ensure team performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and effective communication abilities. The successful candidate will enjoy a supportive work environment with opportunities for progression and benefits. The salary is approximately £30,000, and the working hours are 6:00am to 6:00pm on a 3 on, 3 off schedule.

Role Description
  • Maintain safe working practices and environment.
  • Organising staffing schedules.
  • Understand warehouse compliance regulations.
  • Stock control, material flow and fleet management.
  • Safe, accurate and effective storage of goods.
  • Oversee team performance and fleet utilisation.
  • Daily control of goods in/out process.
  • Identify and report training requirements.
  • Assisting with investigation reports, effectively ensuring H&S adherence.
  • Ensure communication throughout the team.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience within a fast-paced warehousing environment.
  • Team leading / supervisory experience.
  • Experience of working to achieve multiple deadlines.
