Overview

Are you a proven leader who thrives in a warehouse environment? Does motivating and developing a team come naturally to you? Would you like to put this experience to use with an ambitious and growing operation? Yes? Then you're in the right place. This isn't just a great job opportunity; this is an M&S job opportunity!

We are looking for a Warehouse Section Manager to join our M&S site in Stoke. You'll lead your team to achieve business goals, maximising productivity and efficiency whilst focusing on continuous improvement and colleague wellbeing.

This is a full time, permanent position, where you'll be working an any 5 from 7 day shift pattern. The hours of work will be 13:30 - 22:00.

You'll be paid a salary of up to £33,500 per annum. You'll also receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you'll do on a typical day
  • Take full responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse in your area, you'll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve targets
  • Pro-actively support the site and customer's continuous improvement initiatives, acting as an advocate on site for cultural change
  • Promote a creative atmosphere where ideas and improvements can be harnessed
  • With good understanding of Health & Safety you'll strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings
