Job summary

Gist, part of the M&S Group, is seeking a Night Warehouse Section Leader for Hemel Hempstead (Maylands). You will lead a warehouse team, ensuring safe, efficient operations while coaching colleagues to succeed on 4-on-4-off nights. Drive performance and safety across the shift.

In this hands-on role, you’ll work with the Shift Manager to cultivate a positive culture, manage priorities, and maintain high standards of service, quality and productivity in a busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse supervisory, team leader or section leader role.
• Experience leading and motivating operational teams within a busy warehouse or logistics environment.
• Ability to coach colleagues, provide constructive feedback and build high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and organisation skills with the confidence to make decisions under pressure.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and operational KPIs.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar operating systems.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer service.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Night Warehouse Section Leader to join our Hemel Hempstead (Maylands) team.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of a warehouse operation, leading your team to deliver outstanding service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

Working closely with the Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for creating a positive team culture, coaching colleagues to succeed and ensuring your area operates efficiently throughout every shift.

Role Details

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum + £4,500 Night Shift Premoim

Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Pattern: Nights – 4 on 4 off

Working Hours: 18:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Location: Hemel Hempstead (Maylands), HP2 7PZ

What you'll be doing
