Job summary

A logistics company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse/Production/Logistics Operative for an immediate start. The role involves inventory control, quality checks, and managing stock levels using Warehouse IT systems. Candidates must possess a valid Counterbalance license and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Initially, the pay is £13.50 per hour for the temporary contract, rising to £30,000 per annum once secured as a permanent position after 12 weeks. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Job description

IMMEDIATE START

Warehouse/Production/Logistics Operative

Pay Rate: 13.50 per hour initially while on a temporary contract, rising to 30,000 per annum once permanent after initial 12 weeks

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (usually early finish)

The Role:

• Inventory control
• Raw material and production quality control
• Acceptance and unloading of goods inwards
• Assisting to maintain agreed stock levels including the ordering of replacement stock
• Use of Warehouse IT Systems
• Movement of palletised goods
• Production duties as and when required

Required Skills & Experience:

• In date & valid Counterbalance license
• Ability to work within a fast paced, changing environment
• Ability to adapt to increasing workloads during busy periods
