Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking reliable pickers/packers to join our client in the Telford area. You will identify, scan, and sort items, and place them on conveyors, pallets, or other designated areas in a busy distribution center.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 on rotation. Pay is 12.71 per hour plus an 8.31 shift allowance, with total earnings around £21 per hour before deductions. Applicants should have warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, busy environments.
• Experience using barcode scanners or scanning tech.
• Experience in fast-paced warehouse settings.

Responsibilities

• Identify, scan, and sort items by size, weight, destination, or delivery route.
• Place items on the correct conveyor belt, pallet, or designated area.
• Working in a busy, fast paced distribution center.
• Check items for damage or incorrect labeling.
• Keep the work area clean and free from hazards.
• Organize items in a manner that prevents damage and promotes efficiency.
