Job summary

All Square Recruitment are partnering with a well-established warehouse and distribution company in Braintree to recruit a Warehouse Picker Packer on a temporary basis with a clear path to temp-to-perm after 12 weeks, based on performance. You will join a large, supportive team in a busy environment and start immediately.

The role requires picking, packing and stock management with scanning equipment, alongside adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse, distribution, or logistics role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail when picking and packing orders.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a good pace.
• Good communication skills, reliability and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Pick products accurately and efficiently from warehouse locations in line with customer order requirements.
• Be confident using scanning equipment and computers to manage stock levels and prepare items for dispatch.
• Pack items securely and carefully, ensuring every order is ready for dispatch.
• Check picked and packed orders for accuracy and quality before they leave the warehouse.
• Carry out general warehouse duties, including organising stock and supporting the wider team where needed.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised warehouse environment.
• Work collaboratively as part of a large warehouse team to meet daily picking and packing targets.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including correct manual handling procedures.

Furthermore, after completing 12 full weeks, and based on performance, there is the opportunity for the role to move to a temp-to-perm basis. You will be joining a large, friendly warehouse team in a busy and supportive environment.
