Warehouse Picker/Packer / Location: Heysham Shift Pattern: Rotating weekly - Week 1: 08:00-16:00 | Week 2: 09:30-17:30Contract Type: temporary Full-Time Hourly Rate: £12.65

we're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to join a dynamic warehouse team in Heysham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for quality and a proactive approach to logistics and operations.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth handling of UK and export shipments, maintaining compliance with transport regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick UK and export shipments using provided pick lists.
  • Follow packing and labelling instructions in line with transport regulations.
  • Collate and load export shipments, ensuring all paperwork is completed.
  • Work confidently with third-party systems (e.g., courier services, MSDS)
  • Maintain stock levels of consumables and manage requisitions.
  • Operate trained equipment and report any defects or issues.
  • Keep records and paperwork up to date.
  • Adhere to site security, environmental, and quality policies.
  • Observe health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Engage in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably required.
Experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
  • Forklift license/training is a strong advantage.
