Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our client in Wolverhampton. The role involves picking, packing, and shipping goods, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Pay is £12.94 per hour, with weekly rotating shifts 06:00-14:30 and 14:30-23:00, Monday to Friday. Full-time employment is offered Responsibilities include maintaining stock records, using scanners, and ensuring timely dispatches while upholding health and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in picking, packing, sorting, or warehouse operations.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and move goods safely.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately using pick lists, scanners, or warehouse systems.
• Packing products securely and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Sorting incoming and outgoing goods by order, location, or delivery route
• Checking products for damage, quality issues, and correct quantities.
• Labelling packages and preparing shipping documentation.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and reporting discrepancies.
• Moving stock within the warehouse using manual handling equipment.
• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
• Meeting daily productivity targets while maintaining accuracy.
• Working effectively as part of a team to ensure orders are dispatched on time
