Job summary

Fresh Direct in Wigan is hiring a Warehouse Operative for Days or Afternoons on a full-time basis. You’ll pick, pack, and check ambient, chilled, and frozen items for delivery, with a full induction and optional accredited training including forklift and first aid.

Salary is £28,990 per year with 31 days annual leave, a company pension, and a range of wellbeing benefits. There are opportunities to move shifts, roles and advance within the business.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a cool environment.
• Able to lift weights of up to 25kg.
• Own transport to reach the depot is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and check the quality of ambient, chilled, and frozen food items.
• Ready for drivers to collect and deliver orders.
• Induction provided with optional accredited training (forklift, first aid).
