Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting Picker Packers to join an established pet food production business based in Inverkeithing on a temporary basis with permanent employment offered after 12 weeks. A busy food production facility operates a Sunday to Thursday week with full training provided for the right candidates.

As a Picker Packer, you will weigh, pack and label pet food products, store and dispatch goods, operate machinery safely, keep your area clean for food safety standards and assist

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing or warehousing welcome; full training provided.
• Comfortable with manual handling in chilled environment.
• Punctual, reliable and team-focused.

Responsibilities

Our client operates a busy food production facility, offering a consistent Sunday to Thursday working week with full training provided for the right candidates.

What's on offer?

Temporary position moving to permanent after 12 weeks
Sunday to Thursday, 6am to 2pm
£13.45 per hour, paid weekly
Full training provided

As a Picker Packer, your duties will include:

• Weighing, packing and labelling pet food products to meet quality and production targets
• Storing and preparing goods for dispatch
• Operating machinery and equipment safely in line with site procedures
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area in compliance with food safety standards
• Supporting stock rotation and basic inventory checks

To be considered as a Picker Packer, you will need:

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing or warehousing is welcome, though full training will be provided
• Comfortable with manual handling and working in a chilled food production environment
• A punctual, reliable and team-focused approach to work
