Job summary

Woodlands Home & Garden Group, Bradford, is seeking a reliable Picker/Packer to join our Thornbury site warehouse team. You will pick, pack and prepare timber products for dispatch to customers across the UK.

This physically active role requires safety, accuracy, pace and teamwork. A starting rate of £12.80 per hour applies, with overtime opportunities; permanent full-time employment is offered.

Qualifications

• Need for reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.
• Attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
• Preparing timber products for dispatch.
• Checking products against order requirements.
• Using pallet trucks, banding machines and other warehouse equipment.
• Operating forklift trucks where required, with training provided.
• Working towards daily targets and deadlines.
• Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect products.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized workspace.
