Connect Appointments have IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE for Warehouse Operatives - Pickers in Newbridge!

Working in our established client's warehouse, this is a full-time on-going position for reliable and experienced warehouse workers. Due to the location of the site, access to your own transport would be beneficial.

What's on offer?

• 4-on, 4-off rotating shift
• 6:30am to 6:45pm
• £12.21 per hour
• Full training provided

As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packaging of customer orders;
• Ensuring that all items that are loaded/unloaded match the relevant paperwork;
• Reporting any damaged/missing items to Warehouse Managers/Supervisors;
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining warehouse equipment;
• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls;
• General warehouse and labourer duties

To be successful

In this warehouse position, you will ideally have previous experience in a warehouse or other fast-paced environment (although full training is provided), combined with the following operative duties:

• Previous experience using hand-held scanners is advantageous, but not essential
• Good physical strength and fitness
• Excellent team-working skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Great organisational and record-keeping skills
• The ability to work effectively under limited supervision
