Job summary

The Best Connection Group are recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a busy Cambuslang site. You will work in a chilled warehouse environment (down to 2°C) with PPE provided, focusing on order picking, loading and unloading. Prior hands-on warehousing experience and reliable attendance are essential.

Shifts are 4 days out of 7, 12:00 to 22:00, with rotating patterns and five days off every three weeks; weekly pay with overtime at enhanced rates. Own safety shoes required.

Warehouse Operatives - Cambuslang

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client in Cambuslang. This is a long-term temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

The Role

You will be working within a busy warehouse environment, primarily in chilled conditions, with temperatures as low as 2°C. Full PPE will be provided, although candidates must have their own safety shoes.

The role will involve a strong focus on order picking, loading and unloading, so candidates must have previous hands-on experience in these areas.

Duties will include:

• Picking products using handheld scanners
• Picking orders into cages and baskets
• Loading completed orders onto delivery vehicles
• Unloading deliveries and moving stock around the warehouse
• Manual handling of goods and products
• Checking orders for accuracy
• Working as part of a busy warehouse team
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Following all health & safety procedures

Shift Pattern

• 4 days out of 7 - rotating 3-week shift pattern
• 12pm to 10pm
• No Saturday working
• Working days can vary throughout the week
• Every 3 weeks, you will receive 5 consecutive days off, Friday to Tuesday

Pay

• £13.83 per hour standard
• £20.75 per hour overtime
• Weekly pay

Requirements
