Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Packing Operative in Rotherham to join a busy manufacturing environment. The role involves packing, quality checks, data entry and operating an FLT after training.

The position offers rotating day and late shifts, a 39-hour week and a pay rate of £15.93 per hour, with start date Monday 19th October 2026. It’s a temporary to permanent contract based in Rotherham.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing or packing roles is essential.
• Basic IT skills, including confidence using computers and carrying out accurate data entry is essential.
• FLT experience is advantageous; willingness to learn FLT training is essential.
• Good physical fitness with regular manual handling and walking.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carefully packing kitchen units, doors and accessories for safe delivery.
• Quality checking products to ensure required standards.
• Labeling, wrapping and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Carrying out computer-based tasks and data entry with accurate records.
• Using IT systems to update product, stock and order information.
• Operating an FLT to move materials and products after training.
• Working to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
• Following health and safety procedures.
• Working independently and as part of a team to support production.
