JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Order Pullers are responsible for efficient, safe, and accurate loading of delivery trucks and performing assigned warehouse maintenance tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report to work on time and clock in and out properly.
- Keep all warehouse load areas and grounds clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly, fill racks, push/pull pallets, and load appropriate company products.
- Review the total quantity to be pulled and the truck it is to go on before starting the loading process. Discuss any space concerns with the Load Crew Manager.
- Build loads for each order in the most efficient manner.
- Pull and load the exact amounts given through the voice picking system or system-generated pick sheets.
- Ensure loads are completed accurately and neatly.
- Be aware of code dates and load the oldest product first.
- Visually inspect all cases loaded to ensure they are in saleable condition.
- Load all carts/pallets onto the appropriate route truck.
- Load the product on each truck properly to prevent damage.
- Clean all areas before leaving at the end of your shift, keeping the work area clean.
- Clear the pick area of debris and stretch wrap at the end of the truck loading process each night.
- Ensure all empty pallets are removed from the pick area and safely stored before the end of your shift.
- Report any accidents to the manager on duty immediately.
- Maintain open and clear communication with owners, managers, and other employees.
- Obtain approval from the Warehouse Manager before working more than your regular schedule.
- Dress in uniform and maintain a professional personal appearance according to company policy.
- Conduct all activities within the guidelines of company policies and procedures.
- Comply with local, state, and federal liquor control regulations.
- Perform all work activities following safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to established inventory control procedures and practices.
- Adapt to new responsibilities as required by the Warehouse and Load Crew Managers.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using warehouse equipment such as walkie rider, pallet jack, forklift, scanners, etc.
- Highly motivated to reach goals.
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and auto insurance if driving for company business; ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others, communicate clearly, manage time efficiently, with or without supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Constant walking, talking, and hearing (67-100%).
- Constant standing, sitting, handling objects, and reaching (67-100%).
- Constantly able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently (34-66%) require close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
- Constant exposure to moving mechanical equipment, fumes, or airborne particles; noise level usually quiet.
- Occasional weekend or overtime work.
