Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting a warehouse order picker for their client based in Burslem, England. The role involves picking orders with pump trucks and scanners in a busy distribution centre, receiving and processing goods in the Goods In department, and supporting safety and stock control procedures.

Hours are Monday to Friday 06:00-15:00, with a temporary-to-permanent contract starting immediately. The agency acts as an Employment Business for this vacancy.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse picking is preferred.
• Ability to follow health & safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders.
• Carry out manual picking and stock handling tasks.
• Receive, check, and process incoming goods in Goods In.
• Load and unload items from storage locations safely.
• Follow warehouse processes and health & safety guidelines.
• Report equipment faults or stock discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with team to achieve KPIs and targets.
• Maintain a clean, organised workstation.

• Accurately pick customer orders
• Carry out manual picking and stock handling tasks
• Receive, check, and process incoming goods in the Goods In department
• Load and unload items from storage locations safely and efficiently
• Follow all warehouse processes, health & safety guidelines, and company procedures
• Report equipment faults or stock discrepancies to supervisors promptly
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily KPIs and productivity targets
• Maintain a clean, organised workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 06:00-15:00. This is a temporary to permanent position that will start immediatley.
