Role Description

As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a key role in the daily operations of a busy warehouse, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. The role involves working with warehouse systems, operating forklifts, and maintaining compliance with GMP and SOP standards.

Responsibilities
  • Pick and pack customer orders
  • Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely
  • Use in-house software for order processing and inventory management
  • Perform in-process checks and maintain accurate records
  • Adhere to quality and safety protocols at all times
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and adapt to process changes
  • Work in cold room (+4°C) and freezer (-20°C) environments as needed
  • Lift and move items up to 25kg safely and efficiently
Profile
  • Secondary school education
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain
  • Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licenses preferred
  • Comfortable working in cold environments and performing repetitive tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Computer literate with good spoken and written English
Employment Conditions
  • Region: UK
  • Salary: £12.65 per hour
  • Working hours: 37.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00
  • Contract: 6 months with possibility of extension
