Job summary

Satair UK Limited is recruiting a Warehouse Operative near London Heathrow to lead and support a growing warehouse team. The role requires hands-on inspections of aircraft parts, rigorous quality checks and compliance with 5S and safety standards.

We value experience in dangerous goods handling and continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting. Applicants should be able to perform stock movement data entry and routine inventory checks using standard MS Office tools, with a willingness to work

Qualifications

• Background in aviation logistics and warehouse operations within a fast-moving 24/7 environment.
• Experience with 5S, quality awareness and Health & Safety guidelines.
• Forklift experience including counterbalance & reach trucks; knowledge of dangerous goods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Goods inspection of aircraft parts with quality control and quarantine processes.
• Storage, picking, packing and shipping of goods.
• Data entry through computer systems for parts movement.
• Inbound & outbound perpetual inventory / cycle counts with data entry.
• Use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint to support operational functions.
• Adherence to strict Health & Safety guidelines in a focused 5S warehouse environment.

A great opportunity has been raised within Satair UK (an Airbus Service Company) to develop yourself and your career. Due to recent planned operational development, a new opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Warehouse Operative to lead & support our growing warehouse team near London Heathrow Airport. This role will be working hours listed below (Working Hours / shifts), with the right candidates having a background experience within a highly driven team environment with knowledge in aviation logistics, warehouse operations, Continuous improvement, high level quality awareness, 5S, and have at least 3 years’ experience of operations within a fast moving 24/7/365 environment. The right candidates will have knowledge of Dangerous goods, Known Consignor, Export control, Health & Safety, possible VNA, Counterbalance & reach truck forklift experience. Preferably EASA part 145 Inspection. Furthermore, the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent service levels, and an ability to be coached & develop as part of an effective team to strive to delight customers by their commitment, quality and attention to detail. It should be noted that a good knowledge of Aerospace & the Aviation industry would be useful but not essential. It is your skills, experiences to date and abilities, which will make you, stand out as the right candidate.

Working Hours / shifts

Night shift patterns starting at 6pm to 6am 4 on 4 off

Annual leave

Annual leave is set at 20 x 12 hr holidays per calendar year
