Job summary

A logistics company in Scotland is seeking a Warehouse Operator for full-time duties, including loading, unloading, and maintaining high housekeeping standards within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of industry experience, relevant certifications, and proficiency in essential software applications. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Container packing and checking in line with offshore regulations.

General Description

Warehouse general duties including but not limited to the below

  • Loading
  • Unloading
  • Freight processing (weighing / dimension checking)
  • Material Receipts / Line item Check
  • Picking / Packing
  • General Housekeeping
Essential Job Functions
  • Container Packing / Checking in line with offshore regulations
  • Ability and certification to use general warehouse MHE
  • Manual Handling correct and proper adherence to H&S guidelines
  • Counter balance forklift truck
  • Reach Forklift truck
  • Manual Pallet trucksOther Equipment as introduced
  • Wearing suitable PPE as directed by job function
  • Protecting other staff and visitors by following correct H&S processes / procedures
  • Material Receipt processing quantity checks / net weigh of product
  • RF scanning using CWW warehouse management system (C2C)
  • Correct following of process in handling ETFS and other HMRC controlled goods
  • Housekeeping of the warehouse to a high standard
  • Picking orders to 100% picking accuracy
  • Checking cargo on receipt for damages / theft and escalating to management as necessary

  • Computer Literate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office internet web based and job specific software applications
