Job summary

Edwards Vacuum in Clevedon is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to support the production start-up, materials handling, and efficient kit delivery. You will work with supply chain and manufacturing teams to receive, process and move items to production.

Varied shifts are available with competitive hourly pay (£15.28–£29.90) and upfront role responsibilities. Opportunities exist for contract or temporary ongoing work with end-of-contract holiday accrual.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• SAP knowledge and stock control understood.

Responsibilities

• Picking materials and preparing production kits.
• Goods-in/goods-out and stock management using SAP.
• Delivering kits to the shop floor and booking deliveries.
• Maintaining stock locations and printing labels/documents.
• Upholding 5S, quality and safety standards.
• Meeting targets and reporting issues.

Fri–Sun: 12:30–00:30

Contract: ASAP–20th December

Holiday: Accrued and paid at the end of the contract

AM – Ongoing (37.5 Hrs)

Mon–Thu: 06:00–14:15

Fri: 06:00–11:00

£15.28/hr | Temporary ongoing

£500 after 12 months

PM – Ongoing (37.5 Hrs)

Mon–Wed: 14:30–00:30

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join Edwards Vacuum in Clevedon. This is a key role at the start of the production process, working closely with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure materials are received, processed and delivered efficiently to production.

Duties include:

• Picking materials and preparing production kits
• Goods-in/goods-out and stock management using SAP
• Delivering kits to the shop floor
• Booking deliveries and maintaining stock locations
• Printing labels/documents and using hand tools/lifting equipment
• Maintaining 5S, quality and safety standards
• Meeting targets and reporting issues

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous warehouse experience and SAP knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Reliable, organised and able to work to deadlines
