Job summary

Warehousingsolutions in Bristol is seeking a warehouse operative to pick, check, unload and stock goods across day and night shifts. You may work weekends, with weekly pay and flexible working options. Starting pay is £19.50 per hour on days, £22.50 on nights, with overtime at £25.50 per hour.

The role involves receiving deliveries, recording stock movements, operating basic warehouse equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. PAYE or self-employed roles available.

Qualifications

• Good organisation skills.
• Methodical and tidy approach.
• Ability to complete paper work.

Responsibilities

• Taking delivery of goods and signing the delivery notes or receipts.
• Checking goods for missing or damaged items.
• Unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks.
• Stacking goods in the correct place.
• Keeping records of goods, normally on a computer.
• Carrying out stock control on a regular basis.
• Sometimes selling items to customers.
• Picking, weighing or packing goods that have to be sent out.
• Keeping the work areas clean and tidy.
