Job summary

Driver Hire Preston are recruiting on behalf of our client in Buckshaw Village for a Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance FLT certificate. The role is 12 weeks temp-to-perm with progression to HGV driver training provided by the company.

You will perform general warehouse duties, picking, loading/unloading, and stock movement, with training to become a qualified HGV driver after the initial period. Salary is £32,000 per annum with Monday to Friday daytime hours; the position begins as a

Qualifications

• Counterbalance FLT certificate required.
• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform regular manual handling.

Responsibilities

• General warehouse duties and stock handling.
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Moving and organising stock within the warehouse.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
