Job summary

GXO Logistics in Epsom, England, is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Storekeeper to support our SGN contract, ensuring engineers have the materials they need to keep essential services running. Some travel between sites will be required and a company vehicle is provided.

This full-time, permanent role operates Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00. The role involves issuing materials, picking and preparing orders, receiving deliveries, stock control and assisting with stock takes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing, stores or logistics.
• Knowledge of safe manual handling and warehouse safety practices.
• Understanding of stock control and basic inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to engineer requests, issuing materials accurately and on time.
• Pick and prepare orders for collections and operational needs.
• Receive deliveries, checking and recording stock within the system.
• Manage and segregate waste in line with company processes.
• Monitor stock levels, reporting discrepancies or low stock.
• Support stock takes, including occasional work at other sites.
