Job summary

Quest Employment is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a well-established distribution site in Leicester (LE3). The role involves picking, packing, loading and unloading, with active, on-your-feet work across shifts.

Shifts include AM, PM and Night, with hourly rates from £12.81 to £15.06. Overtime may be available. Monday to Friday work with training provided and opportunities to join an established warehouse team.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual with ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using warehouse systems or paperwork.
• Check picked items against orders for correct products and quantities.
• Pack products securely and label for delivery.
• Load and unload deliveries and move stock around the warehouse.
• Receive stock and check deliveries for accuracy.
• Sort and organise stock and carry out basic stock checks.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Support other general warehouse duties as required by the shift supervisor.

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – LEICESTER, LE3

Quest Employment is currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client, a well-established distribution operation based in Leicester (LE3).

Due to an urgent requirement for additional staff, we are looking for reliable Warehouse Operatives to join the team. This is a general warehouse role involving picking, packing, loading and unloading.

The work is not heavy, but you will be on your feet and active throughout your shift.

SHIFT PATTERNS & PAY

AM SHIFT: 6:00am – 3:00pm – £12.81 per hour

PM SHIFT: 2:00pm – 10:00pm – £13.94 per hour

NIGHT SHIFT: 10:00pm – 6:00am – £15.06 per hour

Working days: Monday to Friday at this stage.

Overtime: Overtime may be available during peak periods, depending on business requirements.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING EACH DAY?

• Picking customer orders accurately using warehouse systems or paperwork.
• Checking picked items against orders to make sure the correct products and quantities have been selected.
• Packing products safely and securely ready for dispatch.
• Labelling and preparing completed orders for delivery.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Moving stock around the warehouse and placing products in the correct locations.
• Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries for accuracy.
• Sorting and organising stock within the warehouse.
• Carrying out basic stock checks when required.
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Working as part of a team to ensure daily warehouse targets and deadlines are met.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
• Supporting other general warehouse duties as required by the shift supervisor.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Physically capable of being active and on your feet throughout the working day.

Previous experience in warehouse, picking, packing, logistics or distribution would be an advantage.
