Overview

Staffline is hiring Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution centre in Barnsley, supporting one of the UK's most well-known high street food retailers.

This is a full-time role, working 5 days out of 7 and the hours of work are: 4am/6am to 2pm. Due to the shift end times, you will need your own transport for this role.

Responsibilities

• Picking food products in a chilled environment using pick headsets
• Breaking down pallets of food ready for processing
• Allocating products for storage and dispatch

Salary and Schedule

First 24 Weeks:

• Weekday Day shift (6am - 6pm) £12.73 per hour
• Weekday Night shift (6pm - 6am) £15.22 per hour
• Weekend Day shift (6am - 6pm) £13.16 per hour
• Weekend Night shift (6pm - 6am) £17.19 per hour

After 25 Weeks:

• Weekday Day shift (6am - 6pm) £12.96 per hour
• Weekday Night shift (6pm - 6am) £16.20 per hour
• Weekend Day shift (6am - 6pm) £15.55 per hour
• Weekend Night shift (6pm - 6am) £17.49 per hour

Overtime rates are paid after 40 hours.

• Breaking down pallets of food ready for processing
• Allocating products for storage and dispatch

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent timekeeping and attendance. You will have the ability to work under pressure and achieve performance targets.

Qualifications

• Applicants will have good Maths and English skills.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
